In my twenties, I stood in the Hollywood spotlight—vibrant, high-performing, and aesthetically “on fire.” But behind the scenes, I was paying a steep, invisible price: the Standardization Tax. I was a high-frequency system trying to run on a low-grade grid, “plugged into” by extractive systems and energy vampires who saw my light as a public utility rather than my proprietary IP.
I didn’t realize I was being harvested until the “Midnight U-Haul” moment—a total identity liquidation that forced me to see the “cords” I had allowed to be plugged into my back.
